Angola: Luanda Festival to Show Over Thirty Films

Luanda — About thirty-five films, 12 of which produced by Angolans, will be screened at the fifth edition of the Luanda Film Festival, scheduled to happen from 16 to 22 November, informed Wednesday the director of the Angolan Institute of Audiovisual Cinema and Multimedia (IACAM), Pedro Ramalhoso.

Speaking to ANGOP, Pedro Ramalhoso said that the event will have feature and short films.

"The theme will vary but we are always very careful to bring movies that are close to the reality of the respective countries (...)", he explained.

According to the source, during the festival there will be also workshops for the exchange of experiences.

The event will screen movies made by directors from Angola, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil, USA, Italia, France, Cuba, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau and Spain.
