Councilor Lawrence Lorunyei has been charged with theft and murder of security officers during last Saturday's bandit attack in Baragoi. Lorunyei was charged alongside four chiefs in a Maralal court. Their application to be released on bond was opposed by the prosecution. The case will be heard on the 26th of this month.
