Asmara — The Office of the National Investment Center stated that the 2nd National Investment Conference would be conducted from 17 to 18 December here in Asmara.

Dr. Woldai Fitur, Head of the Center, told Erina that the conference is expected to lay the groundwork for drawing up propellant strategies for the sector on the basis of opinions and queries by investors that were crystallized during the 1st National Investment Conference. He further indicated that several potential investors have submitted drafts of business plan, and that the office is seriously engaged in identifying the prospective investment opportunities in line with the upcoming conference in which a number of citizen investors residing inside the country and abroad are due to take part.

It is to be recalled that numerous Eritrean investors inside the country and abroad participated in the 1st National Investment Conference that was conducted from 27 to 28 August 2012.
