A Kitale supermarket owner was yesterday charged with selling fake maize seeds. The court heard that on April 2, Mohan Khetia with another not before court were found offering for sale 0.2 tonnes of fake maize seeds.
The seeds had allegedly not been certified by the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service and was being sold at Khetia Drapers Limited in Kitale.
