STANBIC Bank Tanzania unveiled a number of promotions yesterday that will enable its customers save money during the festive period.

Speaking during the launch in Dar es Salaam, the bank's Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs Abdallah Singano said the objectives are to help customers save money whenever they do transactions during this festive period.

"Customers holding Karibu Salary account will get free ATM withdrawals, Visa debit cards, SMS alerts, ATM balance enquiries, cash withdrawals at all Stanbic branches, monthly bank statements as well as free mini statements," he said.

On the other hand, he said commercial and small and medium enterprises (SME) customers will get 70 US dollars flat fee for outgoing telegraphic transfers ( TTs), free incoming TTs and 1,000/- fee for withdrawals.

According to Singano, the campaign will last for three months across the country. He added that the bank launched a second branch in the Kariakoo market recently as an effort to take its services closer to the people.
