Kenya: Ice Prince and Bonang to Host Channel O Music Video Awards

Nigerian superstar Ice Prince and South Africa's 'it girl' Bonang have been named as hosts of the 9th Annual Channel O Music Video Awards.

The two will bring their unique individuality when Africa's most prestigious music awards event gets underway on Saturday, 17 November at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, Soweto.

"I feel really honoured and super excited, I think I am more excited than anyone who has ever hosted/co-hosted the show because it's a huge privilege to be hosting the biggest award show in Africa," said Ice Prince.

The owner of Bonang Matheba Entertainment and radio personality, there's no end to the talents of the multi-faceted Queen B. "Hosting an awards ceremony of this magnitude is a first for me and a great honour.

The Channel O Music Video Awards will be broadcast to over 40 African countries so you can only imagine how excited I am," said Bonang.

Kenya teen group Camp Mulla will be among the performers, they will be joined on stage by Khuli Chana (SA) M.anifest (Ghana), Pro, Mi Casa, DJ Zinhle and Bucie.
