Lubango — The minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Afonso Pedro Canga, officially launched on Wednesday the 2012/2013 agricultural campaign in Caluquembe district in the southern Huíla province.
According to the programme that reached Angop this Wednesday in Lubango, the minister, who is paying a two-day visit to Huíla province, will also check Nossa Terra project in Humpata district.
The official will also visit the warehouse of agricultural tools and infrastructures of the Agricultural Development Station (EDA), silo units, practical exercise of silo correction of soils with limestone and maize processing.
In Huíla province, 605.000 hectares of arable lands will be cultivated.
