Angola: Russian Ambassador Considers Relations Excellent

Luanda — The Russian ambassador to Angola, Serguey Nenachev, on Wednesday here considered excellent the relations between the two state and expressed the desire of his country to develop the co-operation with Angola in the hydroelectric and industrial sectors.

The official said so to the press at the end of an audience granted by the state secretary for foreign affairs, Manuel Augusto.

He said that the relations between the two countries have been increasing after the visit paid by the Russian President to Angola in 2009, during which it was signed various bilateral co-operation accords.

The diplomat reminded that the Chairman of the Russian Bank was in Angola and said that his institution is available to grant a credit line estimated at about two billion of dollars.
