Luanda — The National Statistics Institute (INE) Wednesday in Luanda considered satisfactory the drafting of cartography process in Angola, ahead of general census of population and housing - RGPH 2013.
In its press release sent to Angop, INE points out that in Viana district, Luanda, the process started on 10 October in 2012 and will run for 35 days, while in Cacuaco district, the work began on 9 November, for 20 days.
The work in Luanda is secured by 17 teams (each made up of four census agents and a supervisor).
In the northern Malanje province, the process started on 6 November.
Similar actions are being conducted this month in the provinces of Kwanza Sul, Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul, Benguela, Huíla and Huambo, under a total of 41 teams.
Other provinces also include Bié,Namibe, Cunene, Moxico, Kuando Kubango, Cabinda and Uíge.
In the province of Zaire the process is expected to kick off on 15 November whereas in Kwanza Norte and Bengo the process has been concluded", stressed INE.
