Namibia: Acoustic Friday Doubles Up With Sean K and Miss H

The Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) is closing off the year’s cultural activities with a double bill Acoustic Friday Concert. The show will feature two of the country’s most talked about up coming talents, rocker Miss H and soul singer Sean K.

Heather Dennis, also known as Miss H, is already well-known to local music aficionados and will soon release her debut album, ‘Storm’. This young singer songwriter whose voice has been compared to the likes of Tracy Chapman and Macy Gray experiments with folk, reggae, blues and hip hop and names Brenda Fassie, Hugh Masekela and Miriam Makeba as her main African influences.

Sean Kamati who simply goes by the stage name Sean K, is known for his soulful and jazzy vocals. Having currently released a single ‘Smiling’, which is topping the charts on local radio stations, Sean will be taking the audience on a lyrical journey for both the heart and the soul, promising a night filled with song, serenades and magic.

Acoustic Night will take place on Friday, November 30, at the FNCC Terrance. Tickets are available for N$30 in advance and N$40 at the door. The show will start at 20h00.
