Nigeria: Satan, the Biggest Winner of the U.S. Election

opinion

For sure, some persons, both on the platforms of the Republican and Democratic parties, were announced as winners of the November 6 elections in the USA. Some say that President Barack Obama was the biggest winner of all in that he got re-elected and so retains his job as the most powerful man in the world. But in the unique Idang Alibian way of seeing things, I think the biggest winner is Satan, the Devil.

hough Satan did not formally stand election for president or for any other position, he is the biggest winner because the issues which contributed largely to Obama's victory and the victory of other candidates in some states of the American federation are the platforms which Satan would have used to campaign if he had chosen to stand for the presidency or any of those positions in some parts of the USA. Well, Satan is known for his subtlety and was perhaps represented in human forms by many who stood formally for the elections.

It is now common knowledge that what helped to secure victory for Obama and some others was their stand in favour of abortion, sodomy, lesbianism and the use of human embryo for stem cell research. What the results have shown is that from now onwards, any candidate in the USA on whichever platform he or she stands for election who is not in favour of all these anti-family values will find it hard to win election in the USA. Since the desire of every politician is to win election, we can see clearly that championing the agenda of Satan is the sure way to victory.

For some of us, this portends danger for the USA and by implication, to the rest of the world. The world outside the USA stands in as much danger as the USA itself because America is notorious for trying so hard to export its 'civilisation' to the world even when the world says it does not want those exports.

Under Obama, gay people are now permitted in the armed forces. On November 6, an openly gay woman (Baldwin is the woman's name) was elected senator. In a way, sodomy, lesbianism and immoral sexual behaviour have become institutionalised as mainstream values in the USA. As far as I can see, the people who ought to rejoice most over the event of November 6 in the USA are people who harbour perverted values. They are not just on the ascendant, they have arrived. The rest of us will just be making moral noises which the imperative to win election will just laugh us away. Political pundits said before the elections that Obama's endorsement of gay rights was a shrewd political manoeuvre to win both the cash and the votes of the very influential gay people.

As we can all see now what he did has turned out not to be a mere political gimmick; his action and the outcomes of the elections have now entrenched a reign of deviant behaviour. With a lesbian as a senator of the USA, how again can anyone describe gays as a people with a deviant streak? Are you crazy in the head?

Perhaps, I exaggerate a little bit when I said the event of November 6 which gave respectability or acceptance to the practitioners of the ways of the people of Sodom and Gomorrah constitute a grave danger to the rest of the world. Given the resolve of an overwhelming majority of Africans on the issue of gayism, I have no cause to fear at all that aberrant sexual behaviour would gain foothold among us. The only people who will be championing that demonic cause in Africa are some of our misguided Diaspora brothers and sisters and their co-travellers in the civil (evil) society organisations. Obama may send his emisery Mrs Clinton or anybody else to hector us on the need to respect the rights of gays as we would respect the rights of any other minorities or persecuted persons but I trust we will still have the spiritual strength to tell them that there is a difference between a deviant minority and a minority that is persecuted for no just cause. His emiseries would preach their message that is intended to bring divine misery upon us but they are the ones who will be miserable because no one will heed their call.

My pity is for the moral majority in the USA who because of the nature of politics are unable to weave a coalition that can deliver electoral victory to those who stand on divine moral principles. Americans have sold their souls to Satan. Only day and nights of intensive prayers and heartfelt cries to God by the saints for God's mercies and forgiveness can avert the anger of God. No society can take to the ways of Sodom and Gomorrah and hope to become great or maintain its greatness if it is already great like the USA. It is such a great pity indeed that the USA which was founded on noble Christian principles by its founding fathers is increasingly becoming a country like biblical Israel in the days of the Judges where every man did as he pleased because prophecy had departed from the land.

Already, America is a declining world power. Many predict that in the next twenty or so years, America will cease to be the most pre-eminent power in the world. When a country institutes a reign of deviancy in the name of human rights and such nonsense becomes the norm in complete disregard of God, that country has no remedy but to cease being honourable; to cease being an example to the world. My unhappiness is that Obama, a so-called Black man, inherited a country that was in steady decline. Now a much despised behaviour pattern, which if it becomes generally accepted can only further impoverish the USA, has now become accepted. You need no major prophet to say that the only way America will go is not up as Obama and other optimists say, but down and down because the light of God will cease to shine and show its administrators, inventors, business men, scientists, etc., the way to go. America will grope in darkness holding on to straws in order to stay afloat. God is a God of justice: he cannot destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and decide to spare others who walk in their ways.
