Nigeria: FG, States, LGs Share N575 Billion for October

The federal, states and local governments on Tuesday shared N574.940 billion as revenue allocation for the month of October 2012 as against N566.515 shared in September, the Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FACC) has announced.

Addressing newsmen on Tuesday night after the FAAC meeting in Abuja, the Minister of State for Finance, Dr. Yerima Ngama said the total revenue available for distribution in the month of October amounted to N640.76 billion which is in excess of the N502.556 billion budgeted for the month by N138.21 billion. The figure was also higher than the total revenue available for distribution last month by N46.06 billion.
