Liberia: Journalist Edith Quabo Laid to Rest

The remains of female Liberian journalist Edith Quabo, formerly of the Daily Observer Newspaper has been laid to rest.

Journalist Quabo was buried on Wednesday in Paynesville, outside Monrovia.

She died Tuesday at the TB Annex following a period of protracted illness.

The actual cause of death has not been established. Ms. Quabo was a member of the Female Journalists Association of Liberia and the Press Union of Liberia (PUL).

Meanwhile, former colleagues and associates of the late journalist are invited to a very important meeting on Sunday at her family home, near Joe Bar at 3 PM.
