Luanda — The Vice-president of the Republic, Manuel Vicente, met this Thursday Luanda the UK Foreign Office Minister, Mark Simmonds, with whom he analysed the issues related to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
"We came to congratulate the Vice-president on his inauguration to the post and discussed deeply aspects related to the reinforcement technical cooperation between the two countries in several domains", said the UK official.
According to the minister, Angola and United Kingdom need to seek practical ways that enable the strengthening of cooperation ties and Angolan business, having into account the experience of UK.
Among the susceptible sectors of assistance, Mark Simmonds said that agriculture field is one the most relevant for the development of the country.
During the meeting, Mark Simmonds also handed over a congratulation letter from the UK Prime Minister, David Cameron, to Vice-president of the Republic, Manuel Vicente on his inauguration.
