Angola: Nation Urged to Trust in Future Country - Foreign Minister

Brasília — The minister of Foreign Affairs, Georges Chicoty, urged the Angolan citizens residing in Brazil to trust in the future and in a more prosperous Angola good for their children to live well.

Minister Chicoty who was in Brazil for an official visit spoke on Monday at the main event of the celebrations of the 37th anniversary of the country's independence, organised by the Angolan Embassy.

In an act which also counted on the presence of Brazilian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, António de Aguiar Patriota, the Angolan official invited the Angolans in Brazil to return in the country, since opportunities for everyone are being created.

In his speech, the diplomat stressed the fact that the development macroeconomic rates Angola, having taken the United Nations Committee for Policy and Development to consider Angola eligible to be out of the list of least advanced countries.

The act was entertained by Angolan artists José Kafala and Abel Dueré.
