Angola: Parliamentary Affairs Minister Analyses Relations With MPLA

Luanda — The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Rosa Micolo, Thursday, in Luanda, held a working meeting with chairperson of the Parliamentary Group of MPLA, Virgilio de Fontes Pereira, with whom he discussed issues related to the relationship between the two bodies.

At the end of the meeting, which took place on building number 2 of the National Assembly, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said in press statements that they analyzed how should be the relations between his department and the members of the MPLA.

She said the goal is to make the ministry effectively play its role in narrowing the working relationship between the Executive and Parliament.

In this perspective, Rosa Micolo already held meetings with leaders of parliamentary opposition groups.
