President Mohamed Morsi chaired on Thursday 15/11/2012 a meeting to discuss the latest regional developments, topped by Israel's naked aggression on the Gaza Strip that left 11 Palestinians dead and more than 100 others injured.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Hisham Qandil, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defense Minister Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi, Interior Minister Ahmed Gamal-Eddin, Assistant to the President for Political Affairs Pakinam el-Sharqawi and Assistant for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation Essam el-Haddad.

Earlier, Morsi ordered the withdrawal of Egypt's ambassador to Israel.

He also directed to summon Israeli ambassador in Cairo and hand him over a protest letter on Israel's aggression.

Morsi also called for holding an emergency session of the UN Security Council and an urgent meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers to discuss the repercussions of the Israeli attacks.
