Egypt: Country Hands Over Protest Message to Israel Ambassador Against Gaza Assault

Foreign Ministry has handed over a strongly-worded protest message to the Israeli ambassador against Israel's air assault on the Gaza Strip, Foreign Ministry spokesman Amr Roshdy said on Wednesday 14/11/2012.

Roshdy said Morsi also ordered Egypt's permanent representative to the UN to ask an emergency session of the UN Security Council to be held on the Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.

Several Palestinians including a senior Hamas commander have been killed in the Israeli raids which left scores others wounded.
