Lagos — Captain of Lagos State Table Tennis team to the 2012 National Sports Festival in Lagos, Ayo Omotara has assured that they would win all the seven gold medals available in the event at the Games.

Omotara said that the 10-day tour of China undertaken by the team few months ago had boosted their chances to redeem their image at the festival.

"We are sure of winning all the seven gold medals at stake at the festival. There is no doubt that our experience at the Chinese National Training Centre in Hebei has improved our play compared to our form last year.

"I am now using this opportunity to assure the state government and our fans that we will redeem the image of the state at EKO 2012 after Ondo State won most medals in table tennis at the last festival in Port Harcourt, Rivers State", Omotara, son of ex-international, Omotara assured.
