Angola: Health Technicians Receive Training About Medicine Stocks

Ndalatando — Twenty five health technicians connected to the management of medicine stocks in various health units of Kwanza Norte Province are participating in Ndalatando city, northern Kwanza Norte Province, in a seminar about management of medicines, promoted by the Health Provincial Department.

The training programme, which is aimed at increasing the participants' knowledge on the management of medicines, will last three days and it is to cover issues related with the analysis of warehouses reality and stock of medicine in the region and the adequate methods of storage of medicine, with the objective of conserving its chemical properties, to avoid production of collateral effects in human health.

In an interview to ANGOP, the provincial supervisor of the essential medicine sector, Raul Manuel Pedro, stated that the training aims also at increasing the knowledge of managers of medicine stocks in the region, so as to be better prepared for the monitoring and storage of drugs for a careful maintenance.
