Nigeria: Dangote, Wada for Abuja Water Resources Confab

President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State and other government officials will speak today in Abuja on flooding and how to harness water resources for national development, the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, has said.

"Business mogul Aliko Dangote will be joined by other notable Nigerians to speak at the annual conference of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChe)," said NSChe president, Engr. John Erinne.

Speaking at a press briefing on the 42nd annual conference/ AGM of society, Engr Erinne said problem of water supply persists in the country because successive administrations have not been carrying chemical engineers along in looking for solution.

According to Engr Erinne, good water is a sine quo non for national development hence the government and professional groups should collaborate to find a lasting solution to the perenial water problem experienced in the country.
