Senator Abdullahi Adamu (PDP, Nasarawa) has described the death of Dr. Olusola Saraki as a huge loss not only to Kwara State but to Nigeria as a whole. Saraki died Wednesday morning in Lagos.

Adamu said yesterday in his condolence message that the late Senate Majority Leader was one of the most successful brokers of peace and "a bridge" between the northern and southern parts of Nigeria.

In another condolence, Adamu said that the vacuum created by the demise of the former Oyo State governor Lam Adesina will be hard to fill.
