Tunisia: IMF to Support Tunisia Recovery

"The International Monetary Fund (IMF) plans to assist Tunisia, "notably in light of the current economic challenges", TAP quoted IMF First Deputy Managing Director David Lipton, as saying on Wednesday (November 14th).

The official's current visit to the country is part of the Fund's "keenness to consolidate financial and economic co-operation", according to a press release by Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali's office. The IMF will assist Tunisia in preparing an economic road map, Lipton noted.
