Angola: Uige Police Present Alleged Criminals

Uíge — A group of alleged criminals, made up of five people, accused of several crimes were presented to the press last Thursday by the National Police in the northern Uige.

The acting spokesman of the Uige Provincial Police Command, João Victor, said that the alleged criminals, who are aged between 39 and 78, were involved in the sale of cocaine, documents forgery and homicide.

According to the official, the accused citizens carried out their actions in different neighbourhoods of the cities of Uige and Sanza Pombo.

John Victor stressed that the police operation also resulted in the apprehension of cocaine and 6,535 kwanzas.
