Mauritania Mulls Border Closure

Mauritania may close its border to Mali in the case of a military intervention, Mali Actualites reported on Wednesday (November 14th).
Earlier this week, Mauritanian national assembly president Messaoud Ould Boulkheir warned of the possible consequences of a military intervention. The African Union on Tuesday approved the Mali action plan proposed by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
