Liberia: BIN Ends Nationwide General Muster

16 November 2012

The administration of the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization has ended a one week strategy planning general muster with the 15 counties and five regional commanders at the headquarters of the Bureau. The strategy planning general muster for the counties and regional commanders was intended to draw up a workable plan of action on how the commanders can contribute meaningfully by helping the administration bring the Bureau to the pre-war status and the enforcement of the Aliens and Nationality Laws of Liberia as a means mending our borders in accordance with the intercontinental protocol, thereby safe guiding our borders from the cross pollination of people without proper travelling documentations.

During the close of the strategy planning general muster, the Senior Inspector Col. Jabah Jabateh reaffirmed the desire of this administration to move the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization to the pre- war status thus culminating into international standard. He used the platform to tell the commander that they are on three (3) months’ probation and that they will be appraiser base on their monthly performance and reporting relative to the enforcement of the Alien and Nationality laws of Liberia.
