Egypt: Qandil Arrives in Gaza in Solidarity With Palestinians

Prime Minister Hisham Qandil arrived in Gaza on Friday 16/11/2012 leading a delegation of ministers and MPs in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Qandil visited the injured of Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip in al-Shifaa hospital in the city. He was accompanied by Gaza-based Palestinian government leader Ismail Haniyeh.

At a joint press conference with Haniyeh, Qandil said that Egypt will spare no effort for stopping the Israeli aggression and reaching a ceasefire between both sides.

Qandil urged the Palestinian factions to be united for attaining victory over the occupation forces. He further asserted that Egypt will undertake its role for realizing inter-Palestinian reconciliation.

Qandil also underlined the necessity that Israel should stop killing children in Gaza.
