Egyptians Condemn Israel's Aggression on Gaza

Egyptian political parties condemned Thursday 15/11/2012 Israel's brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip that left 15 Palestinians dead and more than 150 others injured.

In a press release, Secretary General of Al-Wafd Party Fouad Badrawi said that the party supports President Mohamed Morsi's decision to withdraw Egypt's ambassador in Tel Aviv in protest against the Israeli offensive against the defenseless Gazans.

Also, Al-Wasat party condemned the Israeli attacks on Gaza and urged the Shura Council and political parties to hold an urgent session to discuss the Israeli terrorism.

On the other hand, hundreds of Egyptians on Thursday took to the streets in rallies to condemn Israel's never-ceasing attacks on the Gaza Strip. The protests set off from Omar Makram Mosque in down town Cairo's Tahrir Square toward the Arab League (AL)'s premises.

Protestors called for closing the Israeli Embassy in Egypt, severing relations with the Zionist entity, opening border crossings, particularly Rafah terminal and annulling the Camp David Accords.
