Zimbabwe: Triangle Smell Victory

TRIANGLE coach Gishon "Gizha" Ntini is confident of sealing a place in the top-flight league when they visit Gaza Gunners in a Zifa Eastern Region Division One tie this afternoon.

Triangle will be crowned champions if they avoid defeat in this rescheduled match, as they need one point to end a 42-year wait in the club's history to feature in the Premiership.

Black Rhinos and Tripple B have already sealed their places in the Premiership and Triangle could become the third team to qualify while Bantu Rovers will be looking at consolidating their position at the top from Southern region.

Ntini said they will be out to collect maximum points and a draw will be the worst result to come out of their clash against Gaza.

"We are not going to park the bus but we will attack from the first whistle and if we can score an early goal it will help us unsettle our opponents," Ntini said.

"We had set ourselves a target of reaching 75 points at the end of season which means we need to win all our last three matches to accomplish that. It's not going to an easy match but whatever the outcome is not going to affect us. Draw will be the worst scenario and we will be out to collect maximum points. Everyone have been waiting for this moment and it will be a big achievement guiding a team into Premiership. I have been in the Premier league before -- that's where I belong and I have nothing to fear," added Ntini.

In Southern Region Bantu Rovers could be on their way back into the top flight-league and they will begin their championship chase from the last two games with a date against Sizani at Portuguese Sports Club.

How Mine and ZPC Hwange are still in with a strong say and they will be looking at piling pressure on log leaders Bantu.
