Angola: Parliament Speaker Invited to Visit Poland

Luanda — The Speaker of National Assembly Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos Friday in Luanda was invite to visit Poland in 2013, under the strengthening of Parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The invitation was announced to the press by the Polish ambassador to Angola, Marek Rohr-Garztecki, at the end of an audience granted to him by the Speaker of National Assembly Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

The diplomat also referred to the coming to Angola of a parliamentary delegation from his country next March.

Marek Rohr-Garztecki stressed the historical relations binding Angola and Poland, having defended the need to strengthen them, through the implementation of the action in various fields, highlighting the support in agriculture sector, where the contacts have already progressed.

He also spoke of the visit of the Angolan minister of Agriculture, Pedro Canga, to Poland in March 2013, with a view to keep in touch with the local farmers.
