Nigeria: Nema Distributes Drugs to Corps Members

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has commenced the distribution of drugs in some National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camps in the country.

Presenting the drugs at Kubwa NYSC camp in Abuja, where members of the scheme's batch C were undergoing orientation, NEMA DG, Muhammad Sani Sidi said the donation was to assist the corps members with medication against any emergency during their stays in the camps.

The DG was represented by the Assistant Director Planning, Hajiya Fatima Kasim, who was also accompanied by the coordinator, Abuja operations office, Ishaya Isa Chonoco.

Sani-Sidi said the visit was in response to the promise he made during his earlier visit to the camp.

The drugs distributed in FCT, Niger, Kaduna and Kano States NYSC Camps included analgesics, antibiotics, antimalarials, antiallergic, general medical consumables among others.
