Egypt: Morsi Contacts More World Leaders to End Israeli Aggression On Gaza

President Mohamed Morsi contacted more world leaders as part of Egypt's efforts to end the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Morsi phoned Russian President Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti and Argentine President Cristina Fernandez.

Furthermore, Morsi and Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak discussed over phone the current Israeli military assaults and air strikes in Gaza. The two leaders expressed a desire to work closely to end the current violence in Gaza.

A statement from the Malaysian Prime Minister's Office said, both countries agreed to get international powers broker to influence Israel to stop its military aggression towards the Palestinian people.
