Kenya: Trending With Nana G - Gifts for Christmas

Fashion has arrived

Kenyan design company, African Mystique Limited, has partnered with Vlisco BV, the leading manufacturer of quality luxury fashion fabrics bringing bold and trend-setting fashion to Kenyan women.

Not only that but they have been appointed as the sole distributor of Vlisco fabric brands in Kenya. Their brands include: UNIWAX, manifactured in Cote D Ivoire. Available in six yards.

GTP, manufactured in Ghana. Available in six yards. WOODIN, manufactured in Ghana. Available in six yards and four yards.

VLIScO, manufactured in Netherlands Available in six yards.

They stock, supply and distribute quality fashion fabrics making them readily available to the Kenyan and East African consumer. They already realise the high demand for this product so in order to be able to reach their clients they will be establishing a distribution network of stockists who own shops within shopping malls and markets throughout Kenya and later in East Africa.

So if you think your shop is best suited to do this, make sure you contact them quickly because they are in the process of meeting potential stockists to carry their brand.

Once that has been established "African Mystique" will have a handful of leading fashion designers who will come together to develop fashion trends under the "Made in Kenya" labels, which will create a support structure for new and up coming designers. Gifts for Christmas

As I mentioned last week, starting this week I will share with you gift ideas so you are not totally stuck this Christmas on what to get someone.

This week it's all about hampers and I'm not talking about your basic hampers... these ones bring to the Kenyan market a whole new standard of gift hampers as they include high-end alcohol (Including the world's best champagne- Armand de Brignac), the latest electronic items (mobile phones, cameras and Ipad3), golfing at Windsor, Brunch and spa treatments at the Tribe Hotel, and meals at Nairobi's most popular restaurants.

The hampers are the brainchild of Crista Mehta, a lady who has an eye for the finer things. Her company, Bright Black Strategic Solutions, sells these hampers through Viva Productline.
