Rwanda: NUR, Ruhango First to Reach Semi Finals

National University of Rwanda (men) and Ruhango Volleyball Club (women) were the first team to book a place in the semi finals of the inaugural Malaria tournament.

NUR reached the last four after beating Kigali Institute of Education and EWSA 2-0 and 2-0 respectively on the first day of the competition on Saturday in Nyanza District. EWSA also beat KIE 2-0 in Group B

In women's category, Ruhango stormed the semis following wins over Musanze 2-0 and Muhanga 2-0, while in the same group; Muhanga beat Musanze 2-0.

Action continues today in group C where INATEK plays GSOB and Karongi, while in women's category, Rwanda Revenue Authority plays with Rwamagana and INATEK on a round robin basis.
