Tanzania: Kiiza Denies Yanga Exit Rumours

UGANDA Cranes and Yanga SC striker Hamis Kiiza has denied reports appearing in local papers that he will be joining champions Simba, after the transfer window was opened on Wednesday.

Kiiza, who has three goals so far this season, has been rumoured that he's in talks with Simba, and also Azam are interested to get his signature. "I'm not going anywhere," Kiiza was quoted by SuperSport.com. "I'm still a Yanga player at the moment and I'm content.

Anyone who wants my signature should first inquire from Yanga because they are my bosses," he added. "I still have a contract with them (Yanga), which I honour as a professional player.

The reports are fake, and they just want to spoil people's names." The striker is expected to land in Uganda this weekend, for CECAFA Senior Challenge which start at the end of this month.
