Rwanda: Now Ciney Wants Regional Stardom

After establishing herself as a bonafide hip hop star on the Rwandan music scene, Ciney (real name Aisha Uwimana) is now looking forward to taking her music to regional level. According to the rapper-cum-radio presenter, "I have what it takes to penetrate the regional market."

Ciney, who kicked of her career in 2010, has so far recorded collabos with an array of Rwandan artistes, including Paccy, Knowless, D-Pinc, Jay Polly and Ril-P. She has popular songs such as Game of Love, High School, Ndabaga, Nkunda, and Ngwino Nkwereke under her belt. Her latest release, Ngwino Nguhe, is currently a regular fixture on most local FM radio stations.
