The General Overseer of Redeemed People's Mission Jos, Plateau State, Reverend Nwosu Thompson has decried the state of insecurity in the Northern part of the country, lamenting that: "people cannot move freely and do business as it used to be in the Northern part of the country."
The Cleric, who noted this on Saturday during the Annual General Council meeting of the church held at the Redeemed Peoples Academy, Jos, added that the level of insecurity has destabilised the economy of the country that people cannot move from one state to another for business transaction.
He called on President Goodluck Jonathan to take proactive measures towards addressing the menace, especially now that Christians are preparing for Christmas celebration.
