Morocco: Tangier Hosts African Handball Club Championships

The 34th African Handball Clubs Championship kicked off Thursday (November 15th) in Morocco. Event hosts Ittihad Tanger defeated Police Club of Rwanda 51-20 in the opening clash.

Sixteen clubs are competing in the men's event, including Algeria's JS Skikda, Esperance Tunis, Libyan clubs El Nasser and Al Ahly, and Morocco champions Mouloudia Marrakech.

Algerian club HHB Saida are participating in the women's competition.

The championships run through November 25th.
