Tunisia: NCA Delegation Visits Tunis UNO Office to Demand Immediate End of Attacks on Gaza

Tunis — A National Constituent Assembly (NCA) delegation is to visit, on Friday afternoon, the United Nations Organisations office in Tunis, to condemn the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and to demand an urgent intervention to stop immediately these hostilities.

According to Mrs. Karima Souid, assessor of the NCA speaker in charge of information and communication, this decision was taken by NCA Speaker Mustapha Ben Jaafar, during Friday's plenary session.

Mr. Ben Jaafar decided, late on Friday morning, to suspend the plenary session devoted to the examination of the draft organic law on the creation of an independent high authority for the elections, due to the dramatic events in the Gaza Strip, further said Mrs. Souid to TAP news agency.
