Libolo — The governor of the central Kwanza Sul Province, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira, has expressed some concern about the delays being recorded in the construction of 200 houses in Libolo Municipality, Kwanza Sul Province, having pledged to make criminally accountable all the firms that do not honour their contractual commitment.
Speaking to the press, in the end of a 72-hour visit to the municipality, Eusébio de Brito Teixeira said that the firms that have
been hired to build the houses are not respecting the terms of the contract they signed with the government.
He added that the contractors will be summoned to clarify the reasons behind the delays in the conclusion of the works.
He appealed to the contractors to obey the deadlines of the contract, so as to avoid being penalized.
During his stay in the municipality, the governor inaugurated a medical centre in Cabuta commune, as well as visited the
Quissongo commune, the potable water supply system and checked some road works.
