Kenya: UN Hails Family Protection Bill

The United Nations has hailed the approval of the family protection bill by cabinet saying it will reduce gender based violence.

UN resident and humanitarian coordinator Aeneas Chuma says if passed into law, gender equality will be realized and cases of gender based violence will be eliminated.
