Kenya: Remembering Road Accident Victims

Kenya is today joining the rest of the world in marking the Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims with concerns that road carnage is increasing in the country.

Government statistics indicate that eight Kenyans die daily as a result of road accidents.

A National Road Safety Programme dubbed Toa Sauti was recently launched to encourage Kenyans to speak out on wreck less driving to reduce these deaths.
