Kenya: Tight Security in Mombasa Ahead of Voter Registration Kickoff

Tight security measures will be put in place in Coast province as the national voter registration exercise kicks off tomorrow.

GSU officers will be used to beef up security in the province amid fears that the MRC may disrupt the exercise.

MRC spokesman Rashid Mraja has however appealed to their supporters to await a court ruling of a case they filed seeking to stop the forthcoming elections.
