Tanzania: Miss EA Attracts More Participants

THIS year's Miss East Africa finals planned for next month has all to cherish as it will occasion beauty pageants not only from the region but three from Europe as well.

Coordinator of the event, Rena Callist named the contestants as Cynthia Ikwene, 24, from Belgium, Mareg Marcos, 21, from Netherlands and France will be represented by Fiona Ruboneka, 24.

He explained that his organization has issued licence for agent to stage the screening of beauty aspirants and those who win secure a slot for the finals at Mlimani City Hall in Dar es Salaam on December 7.

The trio will join other finalists Jocelyne Diana Maro (Tanzania), Akuot Philip Suzan (Southern Sudan), Rahwa Afeworki (Eritrea), Lula Teklehaimanot (Ethiopia), Mugisha Nadege (Burundi), Annabelle Marvel Pointe (Seychelles) and Ayisha Nagudi (Uganda).

Callist said they still await finalists from Malawi Madagascar, Reunion, Comoros and Mauritius who have confirmed to send their candidates for the finals.
