Haikota — Solar-energy-powered public telephones have been put in place in Haikota semi-urban center.
Among the residents, Mr. Mohammed Hassen Adem, Mr. Abdalla Mohammed Hajjaj, Saleh Ahmed and Mr. Ismail Mohammed expressed satisfaction with the facility, and lauded the government's commitment to promote rural development. They further explained that the facility is crucial in promoting socio-economic activities in the locality, and said that they would utilize it judiciously.
