Nigeria: NDLEA DG Vows to Tackle Drug Kingpins

The Director General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Mr Femi Ajayi has vowed to confront drug barons in the country until they quit the criminal act.

He gave the assurance at the 2012 Ayegbaju Day celebration where he was conferred with the Chieftaincy title of 'Otunba Ayegbaju'.

The Owa of Ayegbaju-Ekiti, Oba Solomon Oluwanle Adeloye, who conferred the title, said that it was in recognition of his contribution to community development.

Mrs Iyabode Ajayi, wife of the DG was also conferred with the title of Yeye Otunba Ayegbaju for being a pillar of support to her husband.
