Nigeria: FCTA Commissions Owner/Occupier Model Primary Health Care Centre

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCT) has commissioned an Owner Occupier Primary Health Care Centre (PHC) in Kubwa satellite town of FCT designed to relieve the pressure on the Kubwa General Hospital.

FCTA has also achieved over 140 per cent increase in the proportion of children de-wormed in 2012 compared to last year's average.

This was disclosed by the FCT Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed at the weekend during the flag-off of the FCT Maternal, Newborn and Child Health Week and the commissioning of the Owner Occupier Primary Health Care Centre in Kubwa, Bwari Area Council.
