Motorists who ply the major roads at Kubwa, in Bwari Area Council, are now experiencing traffic jam due to the resumption of rehabilitation work on the deplorable roads.

The temporal closure of the affected roads by the contractors has forced motorists to take alternative routes which are always congested.

A motorist spoken to commended the roads' repairs project but critized the manner in which the roads under repairs were being blocked by the construction workers.

"There should be signs clearly placed at the entrance of roads under construction to alert motorists of possible diversions," Musa, a businessman said.

He thanked Bwari Area Council's authorities for resuming work on the roads and called for the speedy completion of the repairs project to reduce the suffering of residents.
