Angolan Artist Nástio Mosquito Opens Exhibition in London

London — The Angolan artist Nástio Mosquito will present on November 24, at a British Tate Modern Gallery, in London, a selection of his most irreverent videos, in an evolving performance which includes spoken word and a cappella songs.

The exhibition will take place in the ambit a programme dubbed Across the Board, which is a two-year project of Tate Modern aimed at expanding the work of African artists, boosting the interaction among the local public and international artists, curators and scholars, in order to explore the current cultural and artistic production in Africa through a series of events.

Nástio Mosquito and Nigerian artist Otobong Nkanga have been invited to start this first event of the Across the Board event.
