Angola: José Sayovo Encourages Children to Play Sports

Menongue — The Angolan paralympic athlete José Sayovo has recently encouraged in Menongue City, Kuando Kubango Province, children to dedicate to sports in order to have a healthy life.

According to José Sayovo, who spoke during Lwini Fund's early Christmas festivities, sports are part of the creation of friendships that allow a good coexistence in all corners of the country and the world where athletes are known.

The paralympic athlete said that Kuando Kubango has youths and children capable of doing sports with a capacity of contributing to the national athletics.

José Sayavo also opened an athletics competition for children.

On the occasion, the governor of Kubango Kubango, Higino Carneiro, promised to support sports projects so that the province can know levels that allow it to participate in major national and international competitions.
